Battle of Okinawa Memorial

The Battle of Okinawa memorial is located at Torii Station in Yomitan Village, Okinawa. The memorial was dedicated in June 1995 as part of the 50th commemoration of the battle. It is a bronze relief map of the island showing the invasion beaches and memorial plaques for the four Army Divisions (77th, 96th, 27th and 7th) who fought there.
